Social media might tell you that Pilates is only for people who look a certain way. We disagree. Pilates is about building strength, improving mobility, and moving better-not fitting into a specific body type. If you've been 'waiting until you change size' to try Pilates, this is your invitation to start now with wherever you are at.
Beginner Mat Pilates is a 4-week small group program that teaches the fundamentals of Pilates in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. You'll learn how to engage your core, improve your posture, increase flexibility, build stability, and move with greater confidence through slow, controlled movements.
This program is only open to 6 participants, so you'll receive personalized coaching and plenty of opportunities to ask questions while learning at your own pace. No experience is necessary.
A few things to know before you register:
This program is performed primarily on a mat on the floor. While every exercise includes options and modifications to meet you where you are, participants should be able to get down to the floor and back up independently, as this is a requirement of the program.
If floor-based exercise isn't comfortable for you right now, that's okay. Our regular group fitness classes always include standing alternatives alongside floor exercises, so you can participate safely while continuing to build your strength and confidence.
This isn't about keeping up with everyone else. It's about learning to move well, building confidence, and discovering just how strong you already are.
